What is Korea Tech Corps?
Selected Korean young professionals with ICT knowledge will be given opportunities to support ICT-related projects and/or provide ICT-based solutions tailored to specific business needs of the IDB’s partner institutions in a Latin American or Caribbean country for 12 months.
What you need to know?
20-30 Korean Tech Corps (KTC) will be hired as IDB consultants to provide support for addressing ICT-related challenges of public agencies or private companies in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
Phases of the program
On-site training in LAC:
On-boarding training, language learning and cultural adaptation
Professional activities in LAC:
Deployment to public agencies or private companies in the destination country.
CHILE, COLOMBIA, COSTA RICA, MEXICO, PANAMA, PARAGUAY AND URUGUAY ARE EXPECTED HOST COUNTRIES. OPPORTUNITIES IN ARGENTINA, PERU AND A CARIBBEAN COUNTRY ARE ALSO UNDER CONSIDERATION.
KTC WILL RECEIVE COMPETITIVE FEE AND APPLICABLE BENEFITS UNDER THE IDB’S POLICY, INCLUDING TRAVEL FROM AND TO KOREA, LOCAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM, AND OTHER RELATED EXPENSES.
